Biography title and author of childrens books

There have always been writers writing for children, and their work – partcularly those in this list of  20 all time best children’s authors – has had a profound impact on the development of childhood and children’s literature.

Some of the earliest children’s authors include Charles Perrault, Hans Christian Andersen, and Lewis Carroll. These authors created stories that were both entertaining and educational, and they helped to shape the way that children’s literature is written today.
